LILACS (2007) Feature Film

A Russian feature film on the life of composer-pianist Sergei Rachmaninov. Directed by Pavel Lungin with Liya Akhedzhakova, Oleg Andreev and Igor Csernyevics. 

Here are three piano pieces for scenes taking place in a New York hotel during the Twenties.  The music is performed by pianist Christopher Northam and recorded in St. George’s Bristol.
