   Chimps of the Lost Gorge

This one-hour wildlife documentary was produced for the BBC by Verity White and edited by James Taggart. The score, composed by William Goodchild, features performances by percussionists Chas Whitaker and Tim Garside, and guitarist Dan Brown. The live performances were recorded at Christchurch Studios Clifton with engineer Ian Humphreys. Series Producer for BBC Natural World is Steve Greenwood.

Brutus and his family live in a deep and ancient forested gorge that cuts through the grass plains of Uganda's rift valley - it seems like jungle heaven but the chimps are trapped! Cut off by deforestation they're leaning to adapt to the alien savannah, but fate keeps turning against them. Can they make a future here or are their days numbered? As the rainforest fragments all over Africa, chimpanzees everywhere will soon face the same sentence. Forest corridors must be opened, but it's an almighty task...

"Will produced a superb score for my BBC film. He was a great pleasure to work with and I'd highly recommend him."
